December 2002, "The Hangman", Bruce Pobanz was called and
joined the Christian Ministry of Athletes International, a group of
other professional sports athletes, as an Evangalist for Christ.

For years, Bruce Pobanz, has been walking the way of the Lord.
When he was 21, he died and was brought back to life.

A few years later, he passed away and again the Lord sent him
back to earth saying his time has not come yet.

Around the age of 28 he suffered a massive stroke, could not walk
or talk and the doctors gave him about one more year to live.
That was over 18 years ago. His faith has carried him many times over.

	I call this Pay It Forward. Like the movie I was in with Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey, a movie in which I played a small part on the big screen, I have realized that my life has been one episode after another of Pay It Forward. For 24 years, I, Bruce Pobanz, traveled the world as a Pro-Wrestler named "The Hangman". I retired from the ring where I was a World Champion and held numerous local championship belts. Since then I have branched out into acting where I have performed in 30 movies and numerous TV specials and series. Recently, December 2002, I answered the call and accepted a role as a Christian Evangelist. October 2002 I answered an Altar Call at the First African Missionary Baptist Church in Kingsland, Georgia. My wife answered the call and while she was standing there, a few minutes later I agreed to join her and answer the call. Two months later I was watching two of my friends on TV. They are Ted Di Biase and Nikita Koloff. They are both in the wrestling business like me and they are now Christian Evangelists. Ted was know as The Million Dollar Man and Nikita was the Russian Nightmare. I wrote a letter to them and a few days later I was asked to join a Ministry, which include many professional sports figures from football, baseball, basketball, golf, auto racing and wrestling. The Ministry is based out of Arizona. The invitation was to become a Christian Evangelist. I accepted and here I am. This website has just been created and will continue to grow in the word and I'll try to share many of my experiences during my life. I traveled the world for over 24 years as a Pro-wrestler. Not once did I think I was doing the Lord's work until I answered that Altar Call and accepted Jesus as my saviour. Not one of us knows what the Lord has in store for us. That is why, after I sat down and took a hard look at my life, I feel what I have done was the Lords way and that what I did was to Pay It Forward in the name of the Lord.
